Executives and boards sometimes value external insight and support. The better they can understand the organizational, cultural, structural and leadership issues, the better they can create the conditions for growth.  As can help identify the critical people issues at work, and craft solutions.

When initiating a project, I spend time with each executive team member, and interview a cross section of employees.  I seek to understand the current organizational and operating model, the culture (“how we do things here”), and how well each of these elements support the strategy.

My initial report-out provides insight into talent, structure/governance, operations, and culture. From there, I’ll help deliver coaching, capability development, team workshops, or other actions to support the strategy.
